The Alishan mountain area has a cool climate, and the tea trees grow slowly due to the large temperature difference between day and night. As a result, the leaves are tender and thick, with low bitterness and high pectin content, which enhances the sweetness and deliciousness of the tea. The tea soup is honey-yellow with greenish color, clear and translucent. It has light, elegant and lasting aroma, fresh and sweet, not bitter.
Tasting Note:
This tea is from the same production area as the tea they took to the competition. Because the number of pounds of tea for the competition is limited, the tea that can be awarded with the competition is only a few pounds, so it cannot be named as Champion Tea. However, it is the same as Champion Tea. If I were to use a wine describe this tea, I would say it is like Riesling white wine, noble and elegant.
